PREP LOCATIONS

The getting ready portion of the day is such a fun part of the day, where all the true nervousness and excitement come out. However, the location is easily one of the most overlooked aspects of the day.

It’s often forgotten how much needs to happen here, from hair and make-up with 4 bridesmaids, to getting dressed and first looks. On top of that add lunch, luggage, and all the gear that hair and make-up requires plus us and it can start to feel over overwhelming and look very cluttered.

Deciding on locations that are well lit (ideally with big windows) and clutter free can make or break this portion of the day’s imagery.

We recommend couples consider not just hotel suites, but using your venue’s prep locations, or Airbnb is a great option as well.

Lastly, we do recommend your prep locations are close together and to the venue, the more time we can spend with you and not in the car the better.
